Channing Frye, Trey Lyles Thrown Out in 4th Quarter
Not even two weeks after Channing Frye was traded to the Cavaliers for Anderson Varejao he was ejected during Monday night's game against the Utah Jazz. With a little under four minutes to go in the fourth quarter Trey Lyles (guard for the Jazz) elbowed Frye in the groin while going up for a shot. Frye confronted Lyles going head to head in a yelling match. Utah's Joe Ingles tried to step in between the two, and Frye appeared to throw a punch that didn't connect with anyone as he was being pushed away.
After a long review session by the officials, Lyles was called for a flagrant foul 2...meaning he was ejected from the game. Frye was called for a technical foul but already had one in the game so it resulted in his ejection too. "I loved it." James said. "First of all his first T, I didn't think it was warranted. I told the ref that. I mean, this guy, he probably has a handful of T's in his whole career, just voiced his opinion. Just said it was a goaltend, didn't disrespect the ref at all. So that allowed him to get kicked out after that first T."
